wiki.bfworks.com

After working on my CSCI 345 project and coming up with that q+d how-to, I decided I should setup a wiki to supplement this blog. I went with the most popular wiki software, MediaWiki. As most people know, that is the same software wikipedia use.

Anyway, was not really that difficult to setup. Took me a bit of work to fix up the theme so that it goes with the blog though. Still needs some work but right now, I have some more important things to do. I will probably move over the Linux Gateway post to the wiki since that seems like it is better suited for a wiki article rather than a blog post.

I doubt I will be writing many wiki articles but it was fun to setup. Will probably finish getting the kings out the configuration and complete the theme sometime in the next coming weeks.

The wiki is now included in the navigation links in the header.

To-do list

Several things I need to freshen up on along with projects I need to complete. Here is a project list.

  • Quicklydo.com - Far from done. Many bugs in the current functions and the AJAX is just sloppy. However, I have no rush in completing this.
  • Facebook app - Just intrigued by the platform. Haven’t thought of an idea of just what to do.
  • Wordpress plugins - I’ve created several little Wordpress plugins for myself (this blog and IAmBelmin). Just need to properly package them and test.
  • Rhapsody keyboard hack - Now that I use Rhapsody for my musical needs, I want to make it easier to manage using my laptop’s media keys. My first Win32 app in a while.
  • GarnetOS GTD application - I’m getting into this GTD thing. Would be nice to have a sort of “shell” for the Tasks application that would make it easier to follow the GTD system on my Treo 680.

Alot of this will have to wait till the semester is over since, again, other than maybe the Rhapsody keyboard hack there’s no real rush to any of them.
